Speed Paints and Stuff
Weekend project - Persian bracelet.
I saw a tutorial today that makes me want to rework this / start a new piece of jewellery.
Below are a collection of speed paints from my time here at Ubisoft, I've learned a lot from the other artists and hope to improve more! Each one is 50 minutes from a random generated word or phrase.

Choppers and Eleanor
Reflections chopper - first day at work tomorrow! Really looking forward to it!
Construction progress
Zbrush character 'Eleanor', for fun :)
I've got a brilliant view from my apartment, working on a few speed paints and a redesign of 'Fury', the female horseman from Darksiders. Really enjoyed Darksiders II - fantastic art.

Happy New Year!
Christmas present for my family, enjoyed recreating the old comic book style from the Incredibles
Scorpion Boss - created in my spare time as a Ubi leaving present. Hopefully they make good use of it in the game I've been working on! Can't say what it is. Final image is rendered in engine, the runes are animated with an emissive offset - it looks cool!
Level art for Ubisoft - can't say what!
This is what I've started on this holiday - A current gen Cobra AH-1. I'm using it as practice for a job I really want. I've never attempted anything so realistic or hard-surface, but I'm really enjoying it. Trying to model a working rotor blade with all the parts from limited reference isn't so easy. Fingers crossed!
Plan:
Implement in Cry Engine 3 with rotor blade animation, and appropriate shaders.
Finish everything by Wednesday.

Sketches, Speedpaints and Stuff
1 hour paint-from-life of a golden ball.
Snake staff speed concepts. I like 1 and 3.
Now for my reasonably presentable sketches from the past month:
Posemaniacs practice in pen and photoshop. Still prefering the pen ones!
Currently working on some sculpts in Zbrush. Hopefully will be done by next week.
Thanks for reading!
